What Founded does
Founded builds and hosts a website for your business. You can preview a site for your idea before you pay for anything.
Payments, cancelling and refunds
Your setup fee pays for building your business preview and site, and it's non-refundable once you've paid. Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your dashboard or by emailing hello@getfounded.app, and you won't be charged again. You keep everything until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund subscription months already paid. If something we built isn't working as it should, tell us and we'll fix it.
Your domain
Your plan includes one domain name. When you choose it, we register it for you and pay for it, including every renewal, for as long as your subscription is active. You're never charged for it separately.
Founded is the registrant of record, which means the domain sits in our account so we can connect it to your site and keep it running. It's still your business's name. If you cancel, ask us within 30 days and we'll transfer it to you. We don't charge for the transfer, though the registrar you move it to may charge its own fee. Registries don't allow a transfer in the first 60 days after a name is registered, so if you cancel before then, we'll hold it and transfer it as soon as that's allowed. If you don't ask, the domain expires at the end of its current registration year.
We register standard names within our price limit. If you already own a domain, we can connect it instead.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you give us, and for the content of the leads and messages people send through your site.
Do not use Founded for anything unlawful or misleading.
No warranty on results
We do not promise any search ranking, traffic or sales. The service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
